Vermont Adult Learning ELL
Welcome to the ELL program at Vermont Adult Learning in Rutland, VT! We offer free English classes to anyone who can demonstrate they are working towards permanent residency. Our classes range from beginner to advanced, and we have classes four days per week. We are very flexible and can work around almost any work schedule! We can also help with job placement, obtaining a driver's license, and connecting you to local resources! VAL also offers citizenship classes!!! Nancy Mark is our ELL volunteer.She works individually with students 5-10 hours per week. Nancy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our center as a former principal, special educator, and adjunct professor at Castleton and The College of Saint Joseph. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found her! She is a compassionate and committed volunteer, and our students adore her!
